The Trumann Housing Authority is proud to announce the winners of the Yard of the Month contest for the month of June, 2008. The winners are First Place is Ovada Phillips at 204 Cherry Drive; Second Place is Hazel Riley at 272 Eastside Gardens and Third Place is Sharon Woods at 220 Birch Avenue.

For their hard work and dedication in helping to keep our city clean and beautiful the winner's were awarded cash prizes. First place received $25; second place received $25 and third place received $15.

The Yard of the Month Contest will continue through July and August. The winners are chosen by a group of judges who are not connected to the PHA in anyway.

We appreciate everyone's hard work on their yard and encourage more people to get involved in improving the appearance of our city. We would also like to thank our judges.
