Glenn D. Bell, 58, of Trumann, died Tuesday at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro,. He was born in Trumann and had lived in Trumann for the last nine years moving to Trumann from South Elgin, Ill. He was a floor installer with the Coleman Floor Company, was active in the Chicago District Council of Carpenters Union Local 1185 for 30 years and was of the Methodist faith. Bell was preceded in death by parents, John W. Bell and Donna Waddle Bell, and by one brother, Charles W. Bell.

He is survived by his wife, Veronica Rose Bell of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Christine Marie and Brad Lee Dye of Jonesboro; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael David and Michelle Marie Bell of South Elgin, Ill.; two sisters and brothers-in-laws, Patricia Ann and Phillip Patterson of Trumann and Gloria Jean and Steven Hecht of Jonesboro; one brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Carrie Bell of Trumann.; three grandchildren, Halie Marie, Cecelia Rose, and Jordan Lee

Memorial service will be Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, with Rev. Thomas Hargrove officiating. Burial will be private.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Bell, Sean Bell, Darrick Stevens, Jeff Stevens, Jamie Stevens, David Brown, Wesley Brown, Paul Damico, Leon Damico and Vincent Tellone

Visitation will be Friday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Winthrop Rockefeller Cancer Research Center in Little Rock
